    Created by Gamble-Skogmo Chair in Child Welfare and Youth Policy, this training course is accessible to the community on moral injury in child welfare. This self-paced course is free and available to the public. The course is divided into five learning modules on moral injury and healing for mental health, addictions, social work and child welfare professionals.

    Three-part module which reviews the concept of moral injury, the relevance of moral injury among parents involved in CPS, and the importance of retention of professionals in child welfare.
  • Workforce Stabilization Study 2016
    Study summary and results from a 2016 study of the child welfare workforce. CASCW partnered with the Minnesota Association of County Social Service Administrators (MACSSA) Children’s Committee and the Minnesota Department of Human Services to better understand the state of Minnesota’s child welfare workforce in order to develop strategies to stabilize and strengthen the workforce in a time of child protection reform.
