The Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare (CASCW) engages in research and evaluation in several ways.
As the home of the Minn-LInK Project, CASCW accesses state administrative data from multiple agencies to answer questions about the impacts of policies, programs, and practice on the well being of children in Minnesota.
In addition, CASCW conducts research in collaboration with local stakeholders (nonprofits, counties, DHS) and supports child welfare related research undertaken by faculty and graduate students at the University of Minnesota School of Social Work.
