Earlier this month, the Anu Family Services Board of Directors presented CASCW with an Award of Excellence for the partnership that CASCW had with Anu in 2013 that advanced Anu’s mission. CASCW and Anu Family Services have had a partnership since 2007. The goal of this partnership is to examine research and develop evidence-based tools on increasing permanency and well-being for children and families in child welfare.
In the award letter accompanying the Award of Excellence, Amelia Franck Meyer, CEO of Anu Family Services, writes:
During the past many years, CASCW has been an invaluable partner to Anu and has helped advance our learning, services, and outcomes in ways that would not be possible without the important partnership that exists between our organizations. Throughout our partnership, CASCW has helped to advance Anu’s knowledge, and consequently the knowledge of the entire field of child welfare. This was especially true in 2013 when CASCW helped Anu to document this important journey through the publication of the Permanency Guidebook.
It is a rare and treasured blessing to find connections between organizations and individuals which are based on mutual trust and respect and which serve a mission-focus without regard to personal or organizational benefit. We at Anu are incredibly grateful for our important partnership with CASCW, and we are pleased that our Board of Directors has affirmed this relationship through the confirmation of this award.
We at CASCW are honored to receive this award, and we look forward to continuing our partnership.
