At the end of October, our advanced IV-E MSW Fellows completed 3 days of Department of Human Services Child Welfare Foundation Training. All of the students are currently in their advanced child protection field placements in Hennepin County, Ramsey County, Washington County and DHS. Students found it to be a very helpful training to validate what they are learning in field and build on their knowledge and skills. They will complete the full DHS Child Welfare Foundation Training later this spring prior to their MSW graduation! We’d like to thank our FANTASTIC DHS trainers, Alex and Kristy!
