From the MSSA Legislative update, we heard that “On Wednesday, two bills affecting social work licensure will be heard in the House Health and Human Services Reform Committee. Both HF1382 and HF1191 are being carried by Representative Abeler. HF1191 would change current practice and make it mandatory that all city, county and state social workers would be required to be licensed.”
