In this three-part module series, participants learn about a new intervention for working with parents with disabilities: parent-centered planning. The modules will provide an overview of the current state of the research in supporting parents with disabilities, including promising practices related to parent skill training and improving social connections and social supports. Parent-centered planning is described in-depth, including a focus on its roots in person-centered planning, a step-by-step overview of this brief intervention, and a case example.
